BEAST’s “Good Luck” Storms to the Top of Gaon Chart

Boy band BEAST’s newest release “Good Luck” has surged to the top of the Gaon Chart, according to figures released by the Korea Music Content Industry Association. The song is taken from the mini album of the same name.

A representative from Gaon told the media, “’Good Luck’ has made it to the top spot in terms of overall digital rankings. BEAST has also reached the top spot in the album charts for the last full week of June.”

Overall digital ranking figures take into statistics from account online performance, mobile sales as well as royalties garnered for tracks’ use as background music in television programs and so on.

The figures revealed that boy band’s song finished above the latest release from Maroon 5, “Maps,” which finished in second place on the Gaon list. Making up the final spot in the chart’s top three was  “A Midsummer Night’s Sweetness,” the hit duet by rapper San E and After School’s Raina.
