Fashion magazine Vogue Korea believes that foundation is a second skin – and advises viewers not be shocked – as they bring forth five male stars together for an anomalous make-up pictorial for their September issue. The pictorial features Dior‘s make-up line modeled by: actor Seo Kang Joon, actor/model Hong Jong Hyun, CNBLUE‘s Lee Jong Hyun, actor/model Ahn Jae Hyun, and model Kim Won. For the futuristic couture look above, the “Roommate” cast member Seo Kang Joon’s face was primed with Dior’s “Glow Maximizer”. Then various shades of “DIORSKIN Star” studio make-up foundation were applied for full coverage and contouring. Lastly, the “Glow Maximizer” was reapplied to the highlighted areas in order to bring out the light on his face. For the second look, Dior’s “Hydra Life Essence-in-creme” is applied for moisture and “Capture Totale Dreamskin” completes the setting as a primer. A thin layer of a light shade of “DIORSKIN Star” studio make-up foundation is applied all over the face and was contoured with a darker shade. Actor/model Hong Jong Hyun sported a simple and natural looking duality look – by mixing one shade of “DIORSKIN Star” studio make-up foundation with Dior’s “Glow Maximizer” – for a healthy dewy finish. His eyebrows were brushed, his lips were moisturized with lip balm, and he wore a Dior Homme suit. For the second look below, Dior’s “Pore Minimizer” skin refining matte primer was applied before a layer of “DIORSKIN Star” studio make-up foundation, and “DIORSKIN Loose Powder” sealed everything into place. CNBLUE’s Lee Jong Hyun becomes one with the elements. By blending two shades of “DIORSKIN Star” studio make-up foundation together and applying it all over his face for both looks, CNBLUE’s Lee Jong Hyun look is effortlessly achieved. With a little bit of “DIORSKIN Star Concealer” for the under eyes, and “DIORSKIN Loose Powder” for the nose – a flawless look is complete. Actor/model Ahn Jae Hyun who is famously known for his younger brother character in “My Love From the Star” modeled an peculiar look by wearing a floral head piece and camouflaging into the background wearing nude and black colored Kimseoryong Homme turtlenecks. For the picture above, Dior’s “Glow Maximizer” was used to highlight and make the bold colors of the flowers pop; while for the second look (below), “DIORSKIN Loose Powder” was used to illuminate with the light gradiance of the pink toned flowers. A darker shade of “DIORSKIN Star” studio make-up foundation was used to shadow the eyelids. Contrasting shades of the “DIORSKIN Star” studio make-up foundation were used to create shadowing figures onto the body and face of model Kim Won. To make the juxtaposition more defined, “DIORSKIN Star Concealer” was used. The photographer Jo Sun Hee commented that, “there is no discrimination to what color shade your skin is. Everyone’s skin is beautiful!” What did you think of this pictorial? Share your thoughts in the comment section down below.
