Boy band BTOB has announced it has signed a contract with a Japanese talent agency called Kiss Entertainment for its activities in Japan.
The group had been in great demand in Japan, and it is believed that several companies had been in touch with a view to securing BTOB’s signature. In July this year, the group completed a successful solo tour that took in concerts in Tokyo and Osaka, and has recently launched a fan cafe in Japan.
Kiss Entertainment also represents several other Korean artists, including girl group Secret and singer-actress Park Shin Hye. A spokesperson from the company explained, “BTOB has a great ability as performers. The boys have a lot of energy and come across as very friendly. We are sure that they will receive plenty of love from Japanese fans.”
The entertainment company has already posted details of showcase events for the promotion of the Japanese version of “Wow,” which take place at the Shibuya branch of Tower Records in November.
The group is currently enjoying the success of its latest Korean release “You’re So Fly.”
