Introducing SoompiTV – Your New Favorite Place to Watch K-Dramas!

Hello Soompiers!

As you may (or may not) know, Soompi has been on the Internet forever. According to this smart guy, 1 “web year” = 4.7 human years, which makes Soompi about 77.6 years old. While other 77.6-year-olds are well into retirement, we’re still working hard to bring you the best in Korean pop culture and entertainment.

Soompi has been on the forefront as a dynamic forum community, a trusted news source, and purveyor of fine autographed merchandise. But we’ve always been missing the video piece – people would have to leave Soompi to watch videos, and then come back to talk about it. This is why we’re so excited to introduce SoompiTV, making Soompi a true all-in-one source for Korean entertainment.

Right now, most of SoompiTV’s content is only licensed for the US and Canada (sadface). However, because we know that Soompiers hail from all over the world, we’re doing our best to get more content for everyone.

For those in the US and Canada, your Soompi account is now the key to all of our video content as well, so catch CNBLUE’s Jung Yong Hwa in “The Three Musketeers” or Rain and Krystal in “My Lovely Girl” right now! You can watch the shows on your computer, or download our free iOS / Android app to watch on the go. Roku and other devices are coming soon.

Thanks always for your support, and please help us make SoompiTV the best place to enjoy K-Dramas online! Your feedback and suggestions are always welcome.
