GOT7’s Japanese Single Debuts at Third Place on Oricon Weekly Chart


Boy group GOT7‘s Japanese debut single “Around the World” has charted high on the Oricon Weekly Chart, coming in at third place.

Released on October 22, GOT7’s “Around the World” also charted at second place on the Oricon Daily Chart on October 26.

Furthermore, they currently have earned the most Oricon points out of all Korean artists who debuted in Japan from 2013 to 2014.

Their Japanese single album has also fared well at Tower Record, Japan’s biggest record store, topping their world daily chart.

Through their single release event held in Tokyo on October 26, GOT7 managed to bring out 10,000 fans. They will also continue to have their first Japanese tour “GOT7 1st Japan Tour 2014 Around the World”, starting in Tokyo on November 4.

GOT7 debuted in January of this year with “Girls Girls Girls.”
