Girl group Tiny-G‘s future seems uncertain.

News outlet Daily Sports reported on February 10 that member Dohee has been refusing to participate in Tiny-G’s activities, supposedly solely focusing on her acting. Dohee rose to fame with her debut role in the hit drama “Reply 1994.”

However, Tiny-G’s agency denied this report. A representative from the agency told another news site TV Report, “A ridiculous article has come out [regarding Dohee]. Dohee put so much into her group debut, it wouldn’t make sense for her to quit like that.”

They continued, “Tiny-G is currently on a hiatus as they have halted group activities. Nothing else has changed. The members are just focusing on their individual pursuits. We are also looking for different directions, as we don’t want the members to not have anything to do. We’re trying to help the Thai member [Mint] promote in Thailand, just like how we have helped Dohee focus on her acting in Korea.”

Tiny-G’s agency recently got rid of their music business department, which has resulted in the rumor of the girl group disbanding. On this issue, they said, “The music team is no longer, but naturally all the work concerning the group has gone to the management team. Dohee does everything the company asks her to do. This is is defamation. The group has just gone on a hiatus. They can be back any time.”

Tiny-G debuted in 2012 as a four-member group. Myeongji left the group in mid-2014 to focus on her acting career, and they have been a three-member group ever since.
