Kwanghee to Leave “Star King,” Denies Decision Is Related to Sixth Man

ZE:A’s Kwanghee has confirmed that he will be leaving SBS’ “Star King” but denied that the decision was related to his recent selection as the Sixth Man on MBC’s “Infinity Challenge.”

On April 19, Kwanghee’s management agency Star Empire Entertainment shared, “Kwanghee is leaving ‘Star King.’ However, this is unrelated to the ‘Infinity Challenge’ Sixth Man project. Rather it’s a matter that has come up naturally in the process of trying to focus a bit more on and grow his expertise in the current beauty and cooking programs he’s currently doing.

“That Kwanghee was selected as the Sixth Man is something that, needless to say, Kwanghee and the management agency staff only found out after watching the broadcast [of ‘Infinity Challenge’].”

Kwanghee’s last recording with “Star King” was reportedly last week on April 13.
