EXO Manager Fined for Physically Assaulting a Fan
A manager of boy group EXO has been fined for physically assaulting a fan at an airport last year.
It was announced on April 29 that the court ordered a fine of one million won (approximately $930 USD) to manager A (34) who works for SM Entertainment.
Manager A was charged with physically harming fan B at the Incheon International Airport on August 19, 2014.
While moving with members of EXO in the parking lot of the airport, he hit the back of B’s head with his hand. B strained her neck and gained bruises when her head subsequently hit her camera. The hospital estimated two weeks for her injuries to fully heal.
At the time of the incident, EXO members were coming back from their schedule in Nanjing, China.
In court, A denied the accusations, stating, “I saw the victim at the time, but I did not assault her nor did I inflict physical harm upon her.”
Nonetheless, the court ruled him guilty, based on the evidence provided.

I was at the airport last year when BTS arrived in LA. I was also in Vegas when MBLAQ ' S Joon got mobbed to name a few. So I've seen firsthand how fans can get. Watching a video will not change my views. After seeing a little girl scare Lee Joon and pull his hair out after he gets cornered, it changes ones view of certain fans.

I agree with you on that one, even though this particular fan didn't deserve being hit, there are a lot of obnoxious saesang fans that deserve a little flick on the forehead for behavior. Some fans are absolutely crazy >

I get that they are trying to do their job and all, but c'mon better be careful because not all fans are crazy psychos

Part of his job probably is to protect the idols but how does that = randomly smack people/fans because they are in the way "based off this incident"?
The argument here isn't even about what he thought she did or might do.... He said he didn't "inflict physical harm" on her. So i don't see where some of you get that she deserved it when he didn't accuse her of doing anything wrong unless I'm misreading this article...

Managers of SJ (the one who pulled the needle out of hengang's arm when he was in the hospital), manager of snsd (the one who broke 2 fan cellphones in a row) and managers of shinee and exo who are violent NEED to get fired. Are they hiring thugs or something? lol

Apparently you don't. Whether I do or not is irrelevant to this article. And if you would have read my reply, I admitted he was wrong. He overreacted and now he is paying the price. But, again, how many times did he not react and have a fan do something to them? Does that justify his actions? No. But those fans don't learn their lesson either and he's forced to do things like this. I stand by what I said.

Again, considering how a lot of EXO fans are, he might have been reacting to a normal situation. Granted, he was in the wrong, but how many times has he had to react to fans acting crazy and rushing them? I don't think he was wrong for how he acted, but that's my opinion
If this is the incident i remember correctly, the fan wasn't doing anything wrong. She was just standing there and other people were pushing against her and thus putting her in the way of the manager. The manager got pissed and then backhanded her.
