INFINITE’s Hoya Is an Armed Robber in New “Mask” Stills

INFINITE’s Hoya transforms into an armed robber in new “Mask” stills revealed on May 25.

In the stills, Hoya can be seen in an all-black outfit, wielding his gun inside of a bank. Although he’s the one doing the intimidating, Hoya’s facial expressions betray his own nervousness.

A source comments, “The actor to look out for in this drama is Hoya in the role of Ji Hyuk, and for his very first appearance [in the drama], he comes out with a gun and leaves a strong impression.”

The source adds, “There is a secret reason for his going into a bank with a gun. This will be revealed in the first episode, so tune into the broadcast to find out.”

“Mask” is an upcoming SBS Wednesday-Thursday drama about a woman named Ji Sook (played by Soo Ae) who masks her true identity to live a better life and Min Woo (Joo Ji Hoon), a man who will do anything to protect her. Hoya will play Soo Ae’s younger brother who causes more than his share of trouble but has a soft spot for his family.

The first episode of “Mask” will air on May 27 at 10 p.m., KST.
