Ballad Singer Sung Si Kyung Gives Hilarious Performance of BIGBANG’s “BAE BAE”

Ballad singer Sung Si Kyung, known for his smooth and sweet voice and – recently – his various variety show appearances as a host on “Witch Hunt” and “Abnormal Summit,” had his fans in for a real treat during a recent performance, where he pulled out all the stops for a cover and parody of BIGBANG’s “BAE BAE.”

Complete with costume and hair changes and his very own “BAE BAE” music video, Sung Si Kyung channels each of the BIGBANG members in appearance quite well, though he has trouble masking his signature ballad voice.

The performance is topped off with sticky rice cake, which he hands out during the verse in question towards the end of the song. After the song ends, Sung Si Kyung continues handing out the cake, reassuring fans, “This is really good rice cake.”

He continues, “No, it’s because it’s bright out. It was a pretty awesome performance, but I don’t think you were able to fully enjoy it.”

“They seemed pathetic, but these are actually really famous dancers,” Sung Si Kyung jokes at the end of the video.

BIGBANG member Seungri personally gave the performance his own stamp of approval, tweeting the video of the stage for all fans to see.
