MBLAQ‘s member Mir opened up about difficulties he now faces as part of a trio.
On the June 26 broadcast of MBC‘s “Quiz to Change the World,” Mir, BTOB‘s Minhyuk, Sleepy, Julien Kang, and others appeared as part of the panel.
MBLAQ has recently come back as a three-member group after Lee Joon and Thunder left, currently promoting their latest single “Mirror.”
Mir first showed confidence in the new status of the group, saying, “After Re.f, Seo Taiji and the Boys, and Firetruck, trios were rare, so we have an advantage.”
But after he failed to impress the panel members with his tricks he has prepared, he complained, “Now that we are a trio, we don’t have anyone in charge of variety, so it’s difficult.” He continued to confess, “Thunder and Lee Joon were in charge of this, but now that they’re gone, I have to be in charge of variety. I’ve been losing sleep at night because of this.”
On the show, he further clarified that he didn’t mean to “diss” the former members in a previous remark he made.
