Rapper Dok2 is set to make his first-ever solo appearance on Korean public television via KBSSketchbook,” following the release of his second full album “Multillionaire,” which comes a full four years after his first.

According to a report, Dok2 was at the filming for the show on June 30, and his episode is set to air on July 3.

The rapper debuted in 2005 at a very young sixteen years old, and has built quite the career ever since. Yoo Hee Yeol asks him how he got started as a rapper, and Dok2 says, “I started in order to try and save my bankrupt family when I was 12. I thought if I did music, I’d be able to earn money. But I wasn’t able to earn anything for 10 years, which worsened my relationship with my family.”

The host then asks Dok2, “Why do you have your money on display at home?”

Dok2 explains, “See the numbers go up and down through internet banking is so fickle. But if I have hard cash, I tend not to use it.” He jokes, adding, “It is me bragging about money.” In all seriousness, however, Dok2 says, “I wanted to give people the message that success is possible, even for people genetically short like me, in the uncommon hip-hop genre.”
