YG Entertainment’s newest boy group iKON is causing up a stir due to information about their upcoming debut schedule and plans.
The group will be releasing a single on September 15 as a warm-up. Previously, it was revealed that a half album including six songs will be released on October 1 while their full album of 12 songs will be unleashed on November 2.
Also, the group will have a showcase titled “Showtime” at Korea’s largest venue, the Olympic Gymnastics Arena.
In an interview Yang Hyun Suk comments, “Since iKON members were eliminated on a survival show, they have endured some hurt and pain. Because of this the company has given extra care and attention regarding their official debut.”
He continues, “Among the 12 songs that are in their debut full album that will be released in November, five of them are title tracks. Thus we plan on filming five music videos.”
Then he adds, “The single that will be released on September 15 is an emotional hip hop song with a medium tempo and groovy atmosphere. This song is one of the title tracks and will definitely have a music video of its own.”
