September 2015 CFs: Lee Jong Suk, Park Shin Hye, SHINee, and More

Now that it is September, fall is upon us. With the changing weather, CFs (commercial films) are adjusting accordingly. This month we have many commercials that endorse products suitable for the colder and drier Autumn weather. Check out our gallery of commercials that are currently airing in Korea and let us know which ones are your favorites in the comments below!

HyunA for TONYMOLY

This video starts out by introducing water and oil as traditional ingredients used for moisturization. Then they introduce goat milk as a revolutionary new element that provides even more moisture. Wearing minimal makeup that highlights her beautiful skin, HyunA looks as gorgeous as ever.

Paloalto for Frau

“Show Me the Money 4” judge Paloalto raps for premium mineral water Frau. The usage of rap in commercials has become increasingly more frequent, reflecting the rise in rap’s popularity in Korea. This CF appears to a be a short version, hopefully a full version will be released soon!

Park Shin Hye and Lee Jong Suk for Millet

The two actors who were rumored to be in a relationship with one another look like a happy couple ready for fall in this commercial for the outdoor clothing and goods brand. The pair snap some cute selfies together, hold hands, and look truly lovey-dovey. Are you happy to see the “Pinocchio” stars reunited in this CF?

Lee Sung Kyung for GT Milk

The rising star is adorable in this cute commercial with a catchy jingle. Showing off her impressive aegyo, the model-turned actress endorses three versions of low-fat milk. Blue is for a nutty, savory flavor while the green carton has a clean taste. Lastly, the pink version is fat-free.

SHINee for the SAEM

Onew, Taemin, Minho, Jonghyun, and Key individually discuss the SAEM’s newest addition to their popular Harakeke line. The new Harakeke Root Cream includes the moisture-filled ingredient from New Zealand and offers more moisture than the regular Harakeke Cream.

Choi Ji Woo for Lotte Duty Free

This cute tourism-centric commercial is available with English subtitles! Choi Ji Woo can be seen enjoying her adventure around Cheongsapo Railroad in Busan. Anyone else loving her latest drama “Twenty Again?”

f(x)’s Krystal for Etude House

Dry weather is a big concern in Korea as the climate changes in autumn. Krystal endorses a popular Etude House product, the Moistfull Collagen Cream. Do you find the animated moisture droplets to be cute?

Park Bo Young and Lee Dong Hwi for LG Uplus

Going through “Oh My Ghost” withdrawal? Fear not, Park Bo Young channels her past character in this CF. At first, it appears as though she is making forward suggestions to funny actor Lee Dong Hwi. However, later we see that she was acting as the telecom’s new IoT (Internet of Things) service where tangible things can be controlled via the Internet. Thus, various actions like turning lights on and off can be accomplished easily.

Jun Ji Hyun for HERA

The beautiful actress endorses HERA’s Ultra Moisture UV Mist Cushion in this somewhat philosophical CF. In a voice-over, she discusses the suffocating difficulties of the life (as well as the city) and the urge to break free from everything. In the end, she says that beautiful women live the way the want and don’t give in to feelings. Are you enjoying HERA’s recent high-production CFs?

Yeom Jung Ah, Lee Sung Min, and Hyun Bin for Samsung Life Insurance

The actors endorse asset diagnosis through Samsung Life Insurance in this advertisement. Yeom Jung Ah and Lee Sung Min ride a roller coaster that symbolizes their savings ups and downs. Enjoy their screaming and reactions to riding the roller coaster!

Kim Sung Joo, Kim Young Chul, and Sam Kim for Lotte

Announcer Kim Sung Joo, comedian Kim Young Chul, and chef Sam Kim team up and become a group named “Soft Cow Boys” for this hilarious ad. With stiff dance moves and straight faces, the trio endorse the chewy milky candy which is literally named “soft [and tender] cow.” This candy is actually pretty good, for those who enjoy milky sweets anyway.
