How Jo Yoon Hee Learned to Portray the Blind in Her New Movie


Actress Jo Yoon Hee released her pictorial for the January issue of InStyle magazine.


In the interview that followed the pictorial shoot, she talked about her upcoming film “Joseon Magician.” She plays the part of a kisaeng, named Boeum, who cannot see. However, Boeum speaks well, she is good at acupuncture, and she can read palms. Jo Yoon Hee said, “I visited a school for the blind, and studied their faces and actions. I also spent a lot of time analyzing the scenarios,” showing her love and passion for her role in the movie.

She also said, “While I did not want to get any social media accounts to protect my privacy, I decided that I wanted to show myself to people, so I recently started.”

Her new film “Joseon Magician” will open in theaters on December 30.
