Actor Choi Sung Won, better known for his recent role as No Eul in “Reply 1988,” did his first-ever magazine photo shoot with Grazia and talked about things he hasn’t had a chance to say anywhere else yet.

Before the photo shoot began, Choi Sung Won seemed very excited and happy to be shooting his first magazine pictorial. He even told the staff members, “I wanted to look nice so I did a face mask early in the morning. Perhaps this will be my best photo shoot ever?” and laughed.

During the complimentary interview, the actor was asked if he had chosen a project after “Reply 1988” wrapped up. To this, Choi Sung Won said, “I will work on making my voice stronger and then decide slowly. I don’t want to rush.” Choi Sung Won is actually a musical actor and had used his voice too much due to endless rehearsals, making his voice a bit weak.

He continued, “I’m not the type to be set on a certain path in life. Whether my next project be a musical, play, movie, or a drama, I don’t care.”

When asked who is his favorite actor, Choi Sung Won picked actor Sung Dong Il, who he worked with in the film “The Accidental Detective” before working with him again in “Reply 1988.” He added, “He’s like a father to me.”

Choi Sung Won praised Sung Dong Il, saying, “He told me that a person who likes doing many things is good at acting. He emphasized that a person’s manners are far more important than his/her acting skills. I can think of so many advices he gave me.”
