Lee Kwang Soo Is The First Korean Celebrity To Get His Own Emoticons On Chinese Messaging App

Lee Kwang Soo continues to prove his clout as “Asia’s Prince.”

On May 3, Lee Kwang Soo’s management agency King Kong Entertainment announced that Lee Kwang Soo is the first Korean celebrity to get his own emoticon set on Chinese mobile messaging application WeChat.

The app, which boasts a footprint of over 700 million active users, is the largest mobile messaging service in China.

Slated for a May 3 release, the Lee Kwang Soo emoticon set comes with 24 different emoticons that bring out Lee Kwang Soo’s distinct silliness and quirkiness.

Danal Entertainment executive Park Kyu Yeon comments, “Lee Kwang Soo is a Hallyu star who is receiving love from all over Asia including China, Thailand, and Vietman.”

“As much as he is the first Korean celebrity to feature, I am looking forward to the emoticons enjoying great popularity in China.”
