R&B singer and producer Dean may be joining the YG Family.
According to news outlet TV Report, rumors are spreading within the industry that Dean is making a move from his current Korean agency, the small-scale label Joombas Music Group, to YG Entertainment.
TV Report reveals that talk within the industry is that Dean is in the process of signing a contract with the major company. Neither Joombas Music Group nor YG Entertainment have issued a statement about the reports so far.
After making a name for himself as a songwriter and producer, Dean recently made his Korean debut as a singer in October of 2015 with the single “I Love It.” Dean has worked on tracks for groups such as EXO, VIXX, iKON, WINNER, and Block B, and collaborated with artists such as Girls’ Generation’s Taeyeon, Heize, Zico, and Crush.
