Rising Legends Semi-Finals: Vote For The Next K-Pop Star and WIN Signed GOT7, DAY6 Albums!

Rising Legends R2 Article

Welcome back to the semi-finals of JYP Entertainment and Soompi’s worldwide audition event, “Rising Legends,” sponsored by Spottoon, a premium webtoon library!

In case you missed it, 50 talented individuals from three key categories (singing, dancing, rapping) emerged victorious in the first round from the 5,000 total entries we received from 122 countries, and the competition is just getting fiercer and fiercer.

After five days and hundreds of thousands of votes in round one, 80 singers, dancers, and rappers are moving on to the semi-finals, and are one step closer to the “Rising Legends” crown! The pool was taken from the 50 people in each category with the most audience votes, with additional “Staff Saves” by our friends over at Viki for one to two talented individuals per category who missed the mark for the number of votes but still have the talent we’re looking for.

This time, we’re going from ~27 in each category to just 10 in the finals, so be sure to support your favorites!

But wait, there’s more!

First, GOT7 and DAY6 are here to cheer on “Rising Legends” voters and participants:

AND they’re also giving away signed albums for lucky Soompiers who vote in the semi-finals of Rising Legends!

How to win either a GOT7 or DAY6 signed album AND a 3-month subscription to Viki Pass:

  1. VOTE for Rising Legends contestants in each category HERE.
  2. TWEET a link to your favorite Rising Legends entry.
  3. COMMENT on this article with which Rising Legends participant you want to see as the next K-pop idol, your Twitter handle, and the album you want to win.

That’s it! That was easy, right?

Don’t forget, at the end of the three rounds of voting, the finalist of each of the three categories will be receiving an one-on-one interview with a JYP talent scout. Yes, this means you might be voting for the next K-pop star!

You can vote for multiple contestants one time per hour, from now until September 20, 7 p.m. PDT.
