[Recap] The Hot, the Sweet, and the Confused - We Got Married 05.04.13

If you missed it, you can read last week’s recap: 10 Adorkable Moments – TaeEun Couple’s First Date

On this episode of “We Got Married Jinwoon and Go Jun Hee can’t keep their hands off of each other, Jo Jung Chi and Jung In really have nothing to hide after they reveal their health, and Taemin struggles with his inner Taeman under Son Na Eun’s watchful eyes.

The hot, the sweet and the confused – this is your weekly Soompi WGM recap!

The Hot – Jinwoon and Go Jun Hee Couple

Jinwoon is one hottie with a body, so is Go Jun Hee. The two of them together, it is no wonder they cannot keep their hands off of each other. Literally. In the car they wrap their fingers around each other, when they walk she takes his arm, and when they are learning about aerial yoga they hold on to each other tighter than the yoga clothes they wear. They even check each other out, and Go Jun Hee shows Jinwoon how flexible she is. Hey, let’s not pretend we wouldn’t do the same.

As hot as the two may be, there’s no denying the cuteness. Go Jun Hee may be six years older than Jinwoon but she really is “cute enough to bite.” She can’t help but close her eyes when Jinwoon teases her with a cotton candy kiss. When her big, bright eyes are open she looks lovingly up at Jinwoon. It’s no wonder Jinwoon’s entire face folds into a smile whenever she does anything.

She also makes a great bell ringer.

Next: Jo Jung Chi and Jung In get physical? Or get a physical…

The Sweet – Jo Jung Chi and Jung In Couple

The best thing about this couple is that we never have to doubt that they are real, because they are. They don’t feel the need to impress or put a lot of effort (or any at all) in proving their devotion to each other. Since the other couples on the show are either touchy-touchy or completely inexperienced, this couple is a refreshing breather.

The tough question for this episode: Would you still marry me if I was ill? The two take a “couple physical” and get everything checked from their teeth to their digestive systems. If you had to put money on who is the healthier one, you might be surprised.

What made this episode worth watching was Jo Jung Chi. He knows that among the visual perfection Korean celebrities are he is not considered handsome, but he values himself and hopes that other people do the same for themselves. He is simple, but sincere. He may not come with a six pack but Jung In should know (and probably does) what a great guy he is. No wonder he is always on her “right side.”

Next: Who will appear tonight, Taemin or TaeMAN?

The Confused – Taemin and Son Na Eun Couple

Taemin? Taeman? Taemin? Taeman? Make up your mind! Are you the clumsy, inexperienced, no nunchi man-child? Or are you the surprisingly suave and smooth Taeman? No wonder Son Na Eun can’t tell if you are being honest about having no experience with girls. Be careful Taemin, the “We Got Married” producers won’t protect your image. If you talk big about loving extreme sports but then can’t keep up with a younger girl on a jet boat, the world will see it.

As for Son Na Eun, if her popularity doesn’t double through this show then shame on you Korea and all you international fans. Yes, she is pretty but she is also weird. She melancholically places a live lobster on the fiery grill and says, “Sorry…but we have to eat you.” As she gets more comfortable with Taemin and his awkward humor, the more charming she gets. Can it be true? Under the the layers of BB cream and years of idol training, is there a sweet, down-to-earth girl there? So far it’s looking like it.
