Park Soo Jin's 5-Year Relationship with Baek Ji Hoon Ended Earlier This Year, Denies Two-Timing Accusation

After Park Soo Jin was rumored to be dating eight-years-younger Roy Kim, it has been belatedly noticed that her long-time relationship with soccer player Baek Ji Hoon had ended early this year.

On June 27, Park Soo Jin’s agency stated, “After checking with Park Soo Jin herself, she said that she had been dating Baek Ji Hoon up until last year and the two broke up early this year.”

They continued, “They still remain as friends and cheer each other on in their respective fields.”

After rumors stated that Park Soo Jin and Roy Kim started dating earlier this year, netizens began to raise suspicions on whether or not Park Soo Jin was two-timing Baek Ji Hoon. However, Park Soo Jin squashed those suspicions by stating that she was already broken up with Baek Ji Hoon when she met with Roy Kim.

Park Soo Jin and Baek Ji Hoon dated for five years since 2008. They received attention for being matched by Park Soo Jin’s close friend Kim Sung Eun and her soccer player husband Jung Jo Gook.

After the dating scandal broke out, both Roy Kim and Park Soo Jin’s agencies stated, “They have met a couple of times with interest but they are not dating at the moment,” as they denied the dating rumors.
