Former EXID Members to Debut as New Girl Group BESTie

Three former EXID members have announced that they will be debuting as part of a new girl group in the near future.

On July 2, YNB Entertainment stated, “Haeryung, who has received a lot of attention for playing the role of Park Hyung Shik‘s girlfriend in the tvN drama ‘Nine,’ will be debuting as part of a four-member girl group called BESTie.”

Three out of the four members are ex-EXID members: Haeryung, Yuzi and Dami. Though the three are debuting as a new group, they are not quite rookies since they were part of EXID for two months.

Early last year, Haeryung, Yuzi and Dami left EXID for personal reasons and Haeryung has been actively pursuing her acting career. After the three left, Solji and Hyerin joined EXID as new members

Meanwhile, the new girl group BESTie will be releasing their debut digital single in the middle of July.
