Comedian-Turned-Actor Lee Jung Soo Has Shotgun Wedding

Comedian-turned-actor Lee Jung Soo recently announced that his wedding was in fact, a shotgun wedding. 

On October 5, Lee Jung Soo and his wife tied the knot at the Seoul Riverside Hotel Grand Hall. Earlier that day, Lee Jung Soo gave a brief press interview before the actual wedding ceremony. 

He stated, “To be honest, I was already planning on settling down and getting married- but then we discovered that we were going to have a baby. I couldn’t send my bride to the delivery room alone, so we quickly made wedding plans.” The actor ended his remarks with the adorable shout, “My daughter, I love you!”

He also revealed, “I think our child will be born at an earlier date than expected. She will be born sometime in February or March.” 

The couple first met on SBS‘s “Animal Farm” four years ago. Before that, Lee Jung Soo performed as a comedian on KBS 2TV‘s “Gag Concert” back in 2002 and later debuted as an actor.
