YB to Enter American and European Markets with the Help of Former Guns N' Roses Manager Doug Goldstein

Popular band YB just signed a contract with former Guns N’ Roses manager Doug Goldstein, and will be entering the American and European markets. According to DEE Company, YB’s agency, they will be releasing their first English single mid-February and will start activities through local radio stations and music magazines in Europe.

YB was the first Korean artist to be invited to and attend various international rock festivals, but this will be the first time they sign on with management and officially take part in international activities.

Doug Goldstein was with Guns N’ Roses from 1980 to 2000, and had been in charge of many huge events like Guns N’ Roses’ 40-country world tour. He has also helped the band sell a total of roughly 150,000,000 albums worldwide. The former Guns N’ Roses manager said about YB, “YB’s guitar riffs, melodies, vocals, and performance are all excellent. When I first heard YB’s music, I felt like I had met Aerosmith and Guns N’ Roses in Korea.”

DEE Company revealed, “Last fall, Goldstein personally met with YB’s Yoon Do Hyun and proposed international activities. With Goldstein’s strong background, his assertive proposal, and detailed plan, YB signed on with his management and will be starting activities with Goldstein in February of 2014.”

YB’s album publicity and American public relations will be taken care of by Lesley Z Media, who has previously worked with popular bands and artists such as Stone Temple Pilots, Duran Duran, The Offspring, Faith No More, KISS, LeAnn Rimes, David Bowie’s Tin Machine, and others. Europe’s marketing company Big Machine Agency will be handling public relations for YB in both the States and Europe.

YB’s Yoon Do Hyun said, “It’s been 10 years since we’ve started internationally big and small events. Now we have the opportunity to officially introduce our music in America and Europe. We are so thankful for this opportunity, and we are excited about our partnership with an amazing management.”
