Girls' Generation Takes Home Trophy with "Mr.Mr." on "M!Countdown"

Girls’ Generation has definitely come back with a bang, as they just took home the trophy on this week’s “M!Countdown.”

On March 6 at 6pm, the nine girls performed their two comeback stages, and thanks to the fans’ generous amounts of love for their title track “Mr.Mr.,” they were crowned this week’s winners. Second this week was CNBlue with “Can’t Stop.”

The members expressed their feelings, “There were complications during the album preparation period, but we are thankful that you have shown us such consistent love. We will pay you back with good music and performances in the future.”

The girls kicked off their comeback special with “Wait a Minute,” which highlights the members’ cute and feminine side. Dressed in blouses and leather skirts, the girls perform the quirky choreography, which goes perfectly together with the overall bright feel of the song.

However, when it was time for “Mr.Mr.,” the nine girls turned into charismatic, sexy ladies. Seen also in the music video, they rocked the masculine denim looks with edgy hats, and showcased a previously unseen side of the girl group. It was also first time for Girls’ Generation to dance on stage with male dancers.
