BIGBANG Tops Japanese Charts with Compilation Album

Boy band BIGBANG has been enjoying chart success in Japan following the release of a compilation album entitled “The Best of BIGBANG 2006-2014.” The album, which was released on November 26, has shot straight to the top of the Oricon Album Charts, and has already sold in excess of 93,000 copies.

The album has sold over 80,000 copies more than the current Number Two-placed album, “Best” by Japanese rock group Sypair. “The Best of BIGBANG 2006-2014” contains Japanese versions of a number of popular BIGBANG hits, such as “Fantastic Baby” and “Monster,” as well as the track “Let Me Hear Your Voice,” a hit for the boys in 2011 that was featured on a popular Japanese drama series.
