Ji Hyun Woo Considering Role Opposite Kim Hee Sun in “Angry Mom”

An offer has been made to actor Ji Hyun Woo to join MBC’s upcoming drama, “Angry Mom.” Kim Hee Sun is going to be the titular “Angry Mom,” who goes undercover as a student in her daughter’s school when her daughter, played by Kim Yoo Jung, is bullied. After School’s Lizzy has been cast as one of the bullies.

The handsome actor has been offered the role of a teacher at the school that the mother and daughter attend. The character finds himself in a peculiar romance with Kim Hee Sun’s character, who he thinks is younger than him, but is actually seven years older than him.

Ji Hyun Woo was last seen in last year’s “Trot Lovers,” which was his first drama after being released from military service.

“Angry Mom” won an award at a screenplay competition. It is expected to air in March, after “Kill Me, Heal Me” finishes its run.
