He also reveals in the interview that he had wanted to be a baseball player as a child. Since his parents didn’t approve, he gave up on that dream. While observing famous baseball player Ryu Hyun Jin, he shares, “If I had done baseball, wouldn’t I have become as [good] as him?” By thinking in this way, he says he feels a vicarious satisfaction.

When asked about what he is pursuing now, Ji Sung answers, “I need to become a good dad, but I don’t think it’s easy.” The father-to-be has been reading books in order to prepare. He also confesses that in the early stages of his wife’s pregnancy “my stomach grew just like my wife’s stomach” and laughs.

More of his interview and photo shoot can be found in the May edition of Elle magazine as well as on their official homepage.
