Latest Teaser Revealing the Secret Meeting of Main Cast of "Producer" Released

The four main leads for KBS2‘s new Friday-Saturday variety drama “Producer” have finally met. The third teaser showing the actors’ meeting prior to filming has been released.

The video shows them revealing their candid feelings. Gong Hyo Jin discusses the extreme secrecy surrounding their script reading and says frankly, “[They] are making a big deal out of it” and makes her fellow cast members laugh. Cha Tae Hyun jokes along and asks, “What are they going to do if [the drama] fails?”

Unaccustomed to multiple observational cameras, Gong Hyo Jin asks variety veteran Cha Tae Hyun for help. He replies, “Even in variety shows, they don’t set up observational cameras during the script reading.”

Since this kind of experience is new to all four actors, they discuss whether “Producer” is going to be a real variety show rather than a drama. Gong Hyo Jin asks Cha Tae Hyun, “We’re going to act, right?”

Meanwhile, Kim Soo Hyun is receiving praise for his polite behavior. As soon as Gong Hyo Jin and IU arrive, he stands up to get them cushions to sit on.

Since it is the first time Kim Soo Hyun and IU are meeting their seniors, they are careful to be polite. IU shows her nervousness and sits on her knees to show respect. Seeing their tenseness, Cha Tae Hyun and Gong Hyo Jin joke around to make the atmosphere more comfortable.

The first episode of “Producer” will air on May 8.
