Gummy Wows Crowd at Surprise Street Performance in Gwangju
Imagine walking down the street in a shopping district and coming across a superstar like songstress Gummy performing in the street!
That’s what many lucky shoppers experienced on April 22 when Gummy held a surprise performance in a fashion district in the southern city of Gwangju.
The street was packed with a crowd of over 700 people, which included many fans who had heard about the surprise performance when the news was released online.
The performance was held as part of her busking tour that’s celebrating the release of her new remake mini-album. She started last Friday in Seoul, and after the success of both these performances it’s expected that she will be continuing the tour.
Her new mini-album is entitled “Fall in Memory,” and features five covers of songs that were first released by male vocalists in the nineties.
