Adorable Little Girl Waits to Say Hello to Police Officer Every Morning

Meet Sol Yi.

She’s a tiny, cute-as-a-button kindergartener who waits for the police officer in her neighbourhood every day to greet him. Thanks to her, Officer Kwon Sang Won can start his days with a smile.

On May 13, the Mapo Police introduced the story between Offier Kwon and little Sol Yi on their official Facebook.

Officer Kwon was patrolling the neighbourhood one day when he met a little girl on her way to kindergarten. She said to him, “I waited for 30 minutes to see you.” That began their unlikely friendship.

After that incident, Officer Kwon begins every work day with a polite “Hello,” with Sol Yi.

In particular, Mapo Police expressed their delight with the words, “Miss Sol Yi~ Hello!”
