EXID's Hani Cries At a Surprise Phone Call From Her Mother

EXID’s Hani burst into tears when she received an unexpected phone call from her mom.

On May 17, during the live internet broadcasting of MBC’s “My Little Television,” held through Daum Pot, Hani appeared as a BJ.

To support Hani, the famous song writer Shinsadong Tiger joins in as a guest. During the show he says, “Congratulations on getting second place. I know some special people who are aware of both of your good and bad characteristics. Why don’t we give them a call right now?”

It turns out that Shinsadong Tiger connects Hani’s mother on the phone. When aksed what the best part about Hani is, she says, “Her one and only trait is that she is kind.” She goes on saying, “She sometimes has difficulties speaking up, and this can work as both a good and bad trait. As a mom, I wish she’d speak up, but other seem to see it as a positive characteristic.”

When talking about her daughter’s negative traits, she says, “You can read her like a book. She is so down-to-earth to a point that she shows her everything to the crowd, despite the fact that she should be image making as a girl group.”

Meanwhile, once hearing her mother’s voice, Hani immediately burst into tears. “Mom, this is a live show. It will be airing next week,” she says. “I love you.”

Later on, Hani says, “I always tear up when I hear my mom’s voice.”

Meanwhile, this episode of the live internet broadcastings of “My Little Television” will be aired on May 23.
