INFINITE's Sunggyu Takes First-Ever Solo Win on "The Show"

Congratulations to INFINITE‘s Sunggyu for his first music show win as a solo artist!

On this week’s “The Show,” Sunggyu took home the trophy with his latest title track “It Has to Be You.” While INFINITE has numerous music show wins under their belt, this marks Sunggyu’s first solo win since making his solo debut three years ago.

Surprised, the winner thanked his fellow INFINITE members, his agency, and loving fans for their support during the thank-you speech. After the broadcast, he shared a photo of himself posing with his precious trophy on his Twitter, thanking everyone once again and giving a special shoutout to Nell’s Kim Jongwan, the producer of his album.

Meanwhile, Sunggyu’s solo comeback has been a big success so far. In addition to the title track “It Has to Be You,” other tracks off his latest album have ranked high on music charts after the album release on May 11.

Other artists performing on this week’s “The Show” included BTS, MYNAME, Jun Hyosung, Monsta X, and more.
