BIGBANG Drops Hints About Their Next Single Release

BIGBANG is definitely heating things up this summer.

Just 10 more days are left till BIGBANG releases their new title songs. As announced beforehand, BIGBANG will release new singles on the first day of every month from May to September. These new songs will then be tied to a full-length album to be released in September. If things go as planned, a new single will be unveiled on June 1, containing two songs just like the one that was released in May.

Seungri said in a previous interview, “The single releasing on June 1 will contain songs that may be played all summer long. These songs go well with summer.”

In response, the other members became flustered and said, “[The songs] will only play through Seungri’s earphones.” Seungri didn’t back down, however, and said, “[The audience] will like it this summer. Even our boss (Yang Hyun Suk) said it.”

The members have filmed the music video for their new songs in Jeju Island. With the bright sun and sky-blue sea as the background, they are sure to have accurately portrayed the passionate minds of the young. Having filmed in the beautiful Jeju Island with the theme of summer, there is a high chance that this song may be as exciting as their previous hit “Fantastic Baby.”

One representative of BIGBANG’s company stated, “‘Loser‘ and ‘Bae Bae‘ have remained at the tops of charts for the whole month of May. When people see BIGBANG, they think of music that is youthful, with a fast and strong beat. It will be interesting to see if this new song will surpass the popularity of ‘Fantastic Baby.'”
