Jo Sung Mo to Become a Father After 5 Years of Marriage

According to Ilgan Sports, a source revealed on June 20 that “Jo Sung Mo and his wife Gu Min Ji have become pregnant after five years of marriage. She is currently five months pregnant.”

The couple have made great efforts in order to have a child. Last year Jo Sung Mo revealed, “We are planning for our kids. We don’t have time right now, but we have talked about having a child when things are good and stable.” They are currently very happy about the pregnancy.

Gu Min Ji debuted through a MBC talent recruitment event in 1998 when she was still in high school. Song Il Gook, Hong Eun Hee, and Park Sol Mi were also discovered alongside her. She graduated from Seoul University’s film department and starred in g.o.d’s “0%” music video as well.

Jo Sung Mo debuted in 1998 as well and boasts many hit songs. Popular songs of his include “To Heaven,” “For Your Soul,” “Do You Know,” and more. He also made an appearance on “Infinity Challenge” earlier this year and received a lot of love for his performance on the “Saturday, Saturday is a Singer” special.

The couple married in November of 2010. They first met in 2007 and dated for three years before tying the knot.
