SEVENTEEN's Seungkwan To Participate In "HIT" Promotions Despite Injury

Pledis Entertainment has released a new statement regarding Seungkwan’s participation in promotions for SEVENTEEN’s latest comeback track “HIT.”

On August 6, the agency released the following statement:

Hello.

This is Pledis Entertainment.

We are here to notify you about promotions for [SEVENTEEN’s] digital single in relation to SEVENTEEN member Seungkwan’s injuries.

Seungkwan, who suffered an ankle injury last month, is currently focused on his treatment and recovering quickly.

After observing [Seungkwan’s] improved condition and progress and continuously discussing the possibility of his [participation] in promotions for the digital single, we’ve come to the decision that because [Seungkwan] has a strong will [to do so], he will participate in the promotions without straining himself for concerts and various activities in the second half of the year.

Therefore, as Seungkwan is expected to perform on stage with minimal dancing, we ask for fans’ understanding.

We once again express our apologies for causing worry [to fans], and we will put forth our best efforts so that Seungkwan can make a complete recovery as soon as possible.
