Hey Soompiers!

We are very excited to bring you Facebook Connect.  Facebook Connect allows you to automatically log onto Soompi (and many other popular sites) once you log onto Facebook.  You no longer have to worry about remembering a separate email address and password every time you wish to log onto Soompi – it's a unified login system!

Upon linking your Soompi and Facebook accounts, Facebook Connect tells you if you have any Facebook friends who are also Soompi members.  You can choose whether to follow them on Soompi (or not).  In the near future, you'll also have the option to publish content from Soompi directly to your Facebook feed.  It's easy!

Facebook Connect also allows new users to register for Soompi with just a couple clicks.

Those of you who value your privacy, fear not – Facebook Connect is a totally optional feature, so you don't have to worry if you wish to remain anonymous on Soompi, or if you don't have a Facebook account.  Those of you who prefer to surf Soompi privately should ensure that the email address used to log onto Soompi differs from the email address(es) associated with Facebook.
