Ok =), well.. this is something new for me, but I always wanted to get more involved in the korean community, seeing as I am korean.. although everybody says i look everything besides it. haha I think it's really cool that they have a website like this, available for people like me that want to see whats going on with the korean part of their korean-american culture. I've been playing with the idea of taking a couple years in korea after school's finished and the more I think about it, the more I really think it's something i want to do. Ive only been once, in i think 2001? 02? well the point is, i loved it and i want to go back! Eat some good food, brush up on my hangul and take in all that wonderful korean. I'm finding myself more and more curious about korea and it's pop culture and people so i guess that would be how i ended up here on the wonderful world of soompi but! im having a lot of problems with loading pages...which is making it hard to explorre! somebody let me know if theyre going through technical difficulties too? computers hate me. »

ive been thinking about studying abroad as well!!! i havent been to korea at all even though im korean which... really depresses me... hahaha... have a fun day!!!

Have you considered taking an Asian studies course at your local university or a basic Korean language class (if you need to brush up on your Korean)?
