SOOMPI Site Upgrades

Hey all,

You may have notices slight differences on the site. We've upgraded the system that SOOMPI is on which will mostly go unnoticed for now. Most of the work was done "under-the-hood" so to speak, but all this so that we can create new features for you all to use.

One feature to note is your menu with links to post blogs, create Fan Club, etc, has moved to the top of the page when you log in. To go see the menu items, rollover the bar that says "My Menu" and the list will magically appear. Also, right below the menu bar is quick access to update your status to let the people of SOOMPI know what you are up to.

With the upgrade, there will be some new bugs out there, so if you find something that doesn't work the way it should, reply to this post with a comment and we'll get to it right away - help us help you!

We'll keep you posted with new features and other fun stuff

What kind of computer are you using (Mac or PC), and which browser do you currently use (Firefox, IE, Safari, etc).

My menu button...

when i click the menu button nothing comes up and it takes me back to the Soompi.com's home page :[ i really want to write a blog.... do i have to install firefox or something? cause my parents won't let me download anything... >_<

FC Vids

Hey, awesome update! Thanks for all your hard work.

I did find a bug just now when trying to add a video to a fanclub the box will only display 4 fan clubs instead of all. Not sure if it's just my acct.

Unable to Edit our Subpages

Dear Soompi Coder,

Pls help us bcos we are experiencing difficulties @ KoSooFanClub - it's been days that we are unable to EDIT / Update our Subpages. Tried a dozen of times but this Pink banner that says 'field is required' kept reappearing (pls refer capture). Will you kindly help us?

User Status

To save a new user status that you type in, simply hit the 'enter' key, and it will update your status on the 'People' page.

You can also use status' that you've typed in before, and also delete some old status'
