The Life "Down Under"

Up until now I've only ever had "private" blogs for private issues. A place where I can vent, rant and rage, out of the "public eye". My reasons for deciding to blog publically is not because I want to become some super popular blogger (though that would be kind of cool), but to share my ideas, opions, rant and raves to everyone and anyone who wants to listen.. Well, read.

So starting off with some basics about me. My name is Tania. Currently seventeen, living in Australia and in my final year of high school. If you want to know a little bit more about you can find me in the Soompi forums where I'm under the username "LunaDiviner". Links to my 411, MSN and MySpace are all there. :)

Moving on, moving on. Life is quite.. "neutral". Or maybe I'm just feeling like that because it's 11.50PM. Haha. Anyway, I had my first day of school yesterday after a much needed two week holiday. Only three sessions of class as opposd to my usual four. You may be wondering why I only have four subjects. Well, it's because as Australians we are very laid back.. Lol, jokes. Well, no.. Not really. The country overall is rather laid back, but I only have four sessions of class a day (plus a whole Wednesday off every week! :P) because I did two "final year" subjects last year.

So, I'll just leave it at that for now. Because 1. I have school tomorrow and am only look at six and a half hours sleep now, and 2. The first day of school is rather draining.

Anyway, I hope at least one person will find my blogging somewhat interesting. If no one does I guess my public blogging life ended as quickly as it started. :( And I know my English skills aren't all up to scratch, but I'm trying to improve. Hehe. :)

lol. I'm from Australia too. I find that not all Australian schools are laid back. It really depends on the teachers really.

I'm in year 9 and it was really  hard for me to cope in the first term. The first day of school I already had 4 or 5 assignments. It really sucked. I really believe it really depends on the subjects you take and the teachers. Honestly, he asian countries their teachers are very pushy with homework and assigments. So here is the same. It's just the teachers.

I hated my first 2 terms I had so much homework. I like slept only 6 or 7 hours! And my school we have tutorial! We come to school at 8:40 am to tutorial and then we hear annoucments and stuff. Then the whole class just chit chat later. I find it quite ridiculous to have tutorial. I wish that my school wouldn't have tutorial. So then class starts at 9:00 am like when I was in primary school. =[ And then I could sleep till 8:00 =] =[ but no....they have to put tutorial in the timetables =[ Now It's term 4. YAY! I've choosen my electives and already. Next year I'm going to do a VCE subject, so when I get to year 12 I have a free period to study! =] But then next year I have to study harder. =[.... But that's life.

Well,  the first day of term 1 I managed to cope with it. And I had really good scores. =] If you think Australia is laid back after all.....that's very sterotypical. Not every school is like that in Austrlaia. It depends on teachers and subjects. My friend goes to one of the best schools and she gets so much homework. She barely goes out much cause of the homework.

Well, my name is Christine and I'm in year 9. Next year I'm going to be in year 10! I found your blog intriguing to read because I'm a high school student as well and I live in Australia =]
