How Did Se7en and JYP's
Collaboration Happen?
As we reported earlier, Se7en’s new album will be a collaboration between JYP and Se7en. Teasers were shown showing JYP playing the piano, then being joined by Se7en. Se7en also released the new mini album tracklist. This is the first time that JYP Entertainment and YG Entertainment will be working together. So how did the two rival companies work with each other? It looks like SBS K-Pop Star and a dinner together made it happen! According to representatives, JYP and YG became closer through SBS K-Pop Star. Se7en, JYP, and YG had dinner together and that is where the project was hatched.

Training Methods Behind
SM, JYP, and YG
Currently besides their outstanding contestants and also popular judges, “SBS K-Pop Star” is also differentiating from other audition programs by having training programs in each respective agency: SM, YG, and JYP. A lot of attention is being focused on the show now because portions of the training method for each agency will be revealed. A representative of the show stated, “Just as the three judges have their own unique ness, the training system of the three agencies is also very different.”

Lee Seung Hoon who gained a lot of attention for his funny rap lyrics and dance skills was teamed up with the younger dancers Choi Rae Sung and Park Jung Eun. Lee Seung Hoon seemed a bit worried about singing when the team was created. He had asked the judges what they should do about singing. JYP answered “You need to sing, but I think you should do a performance that focuses on dancing.” Lee Seung Hoon made choreography to Dynamic Duo’s “Father.”
