Big Bang’s G-Dragon graces the cover of the latest issue of “High Cut” magazine. With 2012 being the year of the dragon, “High Cut” played with words and titled his spread “Year of the g-Dragon,” who was also born in the year of the dragon back in 1988.

The shoot took place in a sunny cafe at Samchung-dong and despite the cold weather and the tedious hours, Won Bin stayed bright and positive throughout the process. Won Bin gave his best poses and smoldering eyes to send out a message for each cut.

In the feature titled, “A K-Pop Sensation Plays Letterman,” SNSD is described as a “telegenic group” that has a strong global following, as it cites the 64 million YouTube views their “Gee” music video brought in.

IU Shuts Down Plastic

IU’s improved looks have been a hot topic for some time now. Especially following the release of her past magazine interview where she allegedly admitted to going under the knife, rumors of her having received plastic surgery seemed to gain track. Although she repeatedly denied the rumors, explaining her changed looks were due to her weight loss and heavy makeup, there seemed to be some doubts remaining.

Chart
Kara's Japanese DVD, "2012 Karadise, Paris," which was released on January 25, was ranked as the no.1 Variety DVD on Oricon DVD charts. According to Oricon, "2012 Karadise, Paris" sold 6,000 copies right after its release and such impressive sales places Kara on the general DVD chart as the artist of 7th most selling DVD.
