When "producing" Shan Yu, I "met" Shan Yu.
The production company said that <A Bittersweet Life> is a movie made for Lee Byung Hun. But there must be two words missing from that... This show must be a movie meant to "do in" Lee Byung Hun. =)
Although I mean this as a joke, there is some truth in it... filming this movie as compared to filming 10 movies combined, this is a piece that takes huge chunks out of one's body and soul.
Not considering the ear-shattering gun blasts, and the tragic expressions, and taking away the time taken during breaks, this is all for that elusive "Bittersweet moment". Besides the necessary emotions, in the midst of it, there is also a necessary killing to be done.
In the end, even my fingernails were broken.

Grasping the moment
In the movie, in 1 second, one can observe the presentation of 24 varying feelings and moods, and to capture all that content in a momentary photo is a very complex process.
For the sake of capturing that array of emotions in one perfect shot, the lighting director, the photographer, consultant and stylist all need to complement each other seamlessly.
Just like that, I (as the character) am captured for eternity in perfect portrayal.

I managed to take a short break in the US where I had gone due to work.
A friend whom I haven't met in a long time happened to be celebrating his birthday,
so I received his invitation there.
Happy birthday, my friend! Cheers!!
This picture shows me still looking steady because I have made up my mind
to control how much I drink and to keep myself together.
The amount of liquor in the glass remains the same (because I haven't touched it).
I got drunk in the end, but had an great time with my friends anyway.
It was my American friend, Ken's birthday.
