[2] Bantamweight and featherweight are both boxer terms for body weight. Bantam is between 51 and 54kg (113-119lbs), and feather is heavier than that at 54-57kg (120-126lbs).
[3] I'm not joking, this is what *he* put in his profile on oresama.com.
[4] "Oresama" is both an overly-self-confident and narcissistic way of saying "me" in Japanese.
[5] The reason why this statement is in the eyesight section is that the expression in Japanese is literally "I have no eyes for sweet things." It means you can't look at and thus control yourself from or be choosy about eating any kind of sweet food. In other words, he's not picky about sweets because he wants to eat it all.
[6] Both Kitarou and Kobo-chan are characters from two different Anime/Manga series'.
[7] Paipo are alternatives to cigarettes to help one quit smoking or to help with cravings when you want to smoke in places where smoking is banned. They are more like inhalers than actual cigarettes because they are reusable and don't need to be lit. The also contain no nicotine whatsoever, but come in various flavors like spearmint, melon, cinnamon, etc. (information from various sites regarding paipo found through google.)

- Miyavi writes, arranges, performs, and produces his own music. Though, recently he has been letting others help him with arrangement.
- Miyavi has a mother, a father, and a younger sister. He is also close with his grandmother. (Neo vol.002, and others)
- Both his grandparents on one side are 100% korean, making him half korean. (Arena37°C Dec. 2005, and others)
- His real last name is Ishihara, although his Korean grandfather's last name was Lee, before it was changed. (Arena37°C Dec. 2005, and others)
- Miyavi played soccer when he was young, but due to an injury he had to quit, and began playing and writing music. It was a turning point in his life. Although he still enjoys soccer, he said he wouldn't go back to it.
- Miyavi once made plans to attend a couple conventions in the United States in 2004 but could not attend due to the fact that a technician was ill. The entire tour was cancelled.
- He made an attempt to quit smoking in the summer of 2003, and has been spotted many times, even to this day, using Paipo, which are like inhaler sticks that are made to help people quit smoking. We believe he has succeeded in quitting smoking.
- He says he doesn't go shopping often cause his clothing is either donated by fans or he keeps them from the photoshoots or music videos he participates in. (LFX October 4th, 2005, and various other sources)
