Se7en is a Korean R&B/hip-hop/pop solo artist.

Although Se7en's parents were opposed to the idea of having him to become a singer, Se7en was determined to reach his dream. During the 4 long years of training in YG Entertainment, he had to mop the studio floors and practice singing late at night. At the age 19, all of his hard work eventually paid off in March 2003 with his first Korean album, "Just Listen." Se7en received a great response to his refreshing style and presence. While gaining success in South Korea, he also promoted his albums in other Asian countries such as Thailand, China, Hong Kong and Taiwan. Se7en was the first YG artist to enter the foreign market. He later studied the Japanese language to prepare for his Japan debut with his single, "光" (Hikari; Light) in February 2005. Going back and forth from country to country, Se7en has held several concerts. He has never lipsynced during performances and is a firm believer that artists have an obligation to sing live. With each album, he displays growth of maturity and demonstrates his versatility with various genres of music. Se7en still continues to attract many people with his charismatic singing, dancing, and personality.

Besides being passionate about music, he also began his first acting role in the drama spinoff, "궁S" (Goong S; Palace S) in early 2007.

Se7en is currently preparing his musical career in America with the help of Mark Shimmel, Rich Harrison and Noize Trip. His first American single still has no release date set yet, but it is expected that his album will be released in 2008.

i was first introduced to se7en at the vzw signing in daly city, ca. i went with a friend and i got a signed poster of se7en and necklace with his photo on it. i was wondering if anyone was interested in buying it off me? he's a great artist, but i'm not that big of a fan as most of you are. so it's not much use to me. let me know if anyone is interested in these items. thanks
