Okay I was really getting annoyed with the lack of organization in this thread... people post some information, or only their After pictures, or don't tell who their doctors are or where they got it done and would rather have people PM them to get more information, or they put their pictures in one thread but their doctor or surgery information in other threads... BUT ANYWAY - i listed who has gotten their eyes done, where, which pictures they put up and which post.

It would be helpful if the people who posted make a good informative post. more than one after picture gives a better idea of what it looks like. So anyway....

I dont know, it's either Korea (my number one choice), NY (i have relatives...rich relatives...maybe they'll spring for the bill LOL), or LA (Cali)...problem is the money and the time. my mom's going to korea this winter but i cant go with her cause it's during school >_<.

BLLLAAARG i was supposed to get it done after high school (im in my second year of college)...and eyelid glue is driving me nuts now. anyone know how to get a REALLY REALLY sticky eyelid glue off your skin? it always gets a little sticky....

oh and i dunno if i should ask this here or somewhere else, but i'll try it here anyway.

so i use tape on one eye because i have it in the other [[left eye]] and it only shows up sometimes on my right .. i hear that using tape is really bad, but sometimes when i take it off [[usually wear it in the evening/night, take off in the morning or right before going out]] and it stays for as long as a couple days~ if i keep doing it ya think it'll stay permanently? is it true tape stretches out your eyelids and can ultimately do more hurt than help? should i stop ..

My older sister got it done like 10 years ago in the US and she has a scar but she always wears eye makeup. Also its way too big. I don't think people get it that big anymore.

i got a question...if you do get the chol...thing that that you should do when your eyes are small, how long does it take to heal? like for the scar to go away kind of thing??? and what's the difference of just getting the eyelid surgery and getting the eyelid surgery and the cholestopy??? she said that at really well known places, they have so many patients that they just do whatever, and only want money? something like that...

lol. although what she says DOES happen, most well known doctors are known because they do a good job. they wouldn't be well known if they did a crappy job.

i already have double eyelids, but is there a type of eye surgery to make your eyes bigger???

^ yea you can get either the inner corners of your eyes or the outer parts of your eyes slit. however, getting the inner corners slit /may/ make your eyes look too close together and sometimes, getting the outer part slit isnt always effective. it all depends on your eye shape too.

i got the inners slit and my eyes dont look weirdly closer bc they were slightly far apart to begin with :]

hmmm i dont know why out of all the asians, koreans have the most majority of people who do not have eyelids that explains the high percentage of surgury, anyways alot of koreans r getting double eyelids its no longer a big deal. i think u look great, and whatever makes u happy.

but dates on photos could be wrong... my parents never do anything about setting the date on our cameras...

i'm thinking maybe she lost a lot of weight and so her eyelids came out more pronounced afterwards?

unless someone knows she definitely did surgery.
