I got this from AF and I believe it is true. So we're going to really have season 2 of Hana Kimi. That'll be great since a lot of people were confused at the ending.

Both of them also have a good friend, Xu Wei Lun. Yesterday the shooting for the sequel began. Ariel wore a wedding dress and entered through a red carpet. The "groom", Joe Cheng said, "Wei Lun's desire before her death was to wear a wedding dress." Joe disclosed that during the wedding scene, their ten fingers were locked tight. When they think about their good friend, they held on to each other even tighter. Ariel even said, "I felt that Wei Lun had arrived for this wedding." Idol dramas are popular with sequels. GTV's Hana Kimi sequel has been confirmed to start filming at the end of the year. Last year, ISWAK had successful ratings on CTV and GTV. The filming started yesterday and the channels are already fighting for the broadcasting rights. Other than the original cast, Danson Tang is also included. The GTV executive said that ISWAK will be broadcasted in Tokyo and Fukuoka in Japan. Ariel hasn't filmed a drama in half a year since she had been studying abroad. The director revealed that the original script didn't plan a kiss scene but Ariel and Joe were willing to have one. Ariel joked, "The director will practice loving his wife at home and use it all on me in the drama." |

YAY! Glad to hear! I just finished watching Hana Kimi, and I really didn`t understand the ending, but you would have known there would be a season 2 so hopefully this time, they`ll tell each other how they feel, hehe =) Thanks<33

Me too! I'm just glad they know how they feel about each other. He didnt want her to tell him that she is a girl because he wants her to stay by his side and live together. If she told.. then their relationship will change. I cant wait for season 2! Wow, they are starting to film much earlier than ISWAK. Hana Kimi is by far my fav. T-Drama<3 WU ZUN&ELLA=<3 They oh so cute  I think they have better chemistry together than Ariel and Joe -------------------- |

The ending of Hana Kimi was totally rushed and unorganized. xD I felt like slapping everyone who disturbed Quan and Rui Xi, when they were trying to confess their love for one another. Lol. And when they finally said I like you to one another, I was so relieved. Because it would be soo wrong if they did not. Glad that they are going to have a Hana Kimi 2. Someone told me that Hana Kimi was Ella's last Taiwanese drama and I totally freaked out on them. xD Can't wait to watch the second season of Hana Kimi. I really want them to have the dance part where Rui Xi dressed nicely in a nice dress and all, like in the manga. *crossed fingers*

T-T;; Ahh, I never got to finish the manga.. I think I read up to half way then I kinda stopped (lol I think I was waiting for translations at the time). Then, my friend suggested the series to me and I started watching the drama series 2 days ago o-o; -------------------- |

oooh yay! i cant wait for it! hmmm i wonder how many episodes are gonna be in the sequel. ^^ hopefully they'll confess to each other.

I find it weird that they confirmed the sequel in news regarding ISWAK. I would think they'd make their own news statement about it w/ the whole casts' confirmation. Is that the only news regarding it?

HAHA!!
I JUST finished HanaKimi.... and! I have been reading ppl's unsatisfied feeling towards the ending. And I was gonna post in the HanaKimi 1 thread that they FOR SURE, HAVE TO HAVE a sequel to it, since the ending of HanaKimi had the main charac guy, Quan, say. this is our way of love, whether its present perfect, or future perfect tense, our story has just begun.... So that's how I was sure there gotta be a sequel. And I come in here, and saw this thread...HAHAHAHAA BUT I am really glad they are having a sequel, hopefully they will clear up some of the plot that got left hanging, like how did Jiro end up liking Julia (it was totally outta the blue!!) --------------------  Coffee Prince <3 |

Hehehe, yay! they start filming at the end of the year! I can't wait until they release it! And I hope it stays good!
I remember Wu Chun saying that they were going to do a HanaKimi 2 if the ratings were really high for the last episode. I suppose they had a good run then if they've confirmed the 2nd series! -------------------- |

the ending for hana kimi was sooooo bad!!! >.< i didnt like it one bit..very disappointed..but up until the end it was AWESOME!! ; P i loved the part when quan nd rui xi were tryin to talk to eachother alone ; D hilarious!!! ^.^ i do hope that its true about hana kimi 2
