GEMINI is two different cultural roots around two characters , which mix up the powerful and contrastive effects on their music. Gemini brings a new wave to the chinese and european music market. Gemini signed with one of the top major record label in China. Gabryl became the 1st French artist who signed with the Chinese music production. This fact absolutely changed the history of Chinese entertainment industry. And Gemini became the most well-expected group in the Chinese music business.
The "Personal Life" EP was released in Frence back in 2005, their first album 私人生活 (Personal Life) was released in China in 2006.   Tracks: 1: 私人生活 (Personal Life) 2: 达芬奇密码 (Code) 3: 盒中困兽 (Sealed Beast) 4: 一起飞翔 (Time Machine) 5: 7色花 (Comes from Bad Live) 6: 沙城 (City of Sand) 7: 结冰的女孩儿 (Girl in Ice) 8: 星尘 9: 最后的倒计时 (The Final Countdown) 10: 玩儿 I personally love this album. If I were to rate all the songs in this album, I almost would give them all 5/5. Honestly, China needs more of this kind of music. People there are so, so used to the same old genres. The chinese music industry needs to expand, and open the minds of the people in China. Give them a chance. Give their music some time to test it out. I like this kind of music, that could be why I'm such a big fan. Hopefully you find it worth of a listen and suppoert them by buying their album. Wow, this looks interesting. I'm liking what I'm hearing from their MySpace page a lot. O.O Any idea where I can purchase the album that ships to the US?
And I completely agree that China needs to expand their entertainment industry, especially musically. I don't know if anyone here knows or remembers Silver Ash, the first ever visual rock group from China. And they were forced to disband by the government... and it sucks because they were so incredibly talented, like mind-blowingly amazing. And they are no more because their government didn't want to put up with the change. My all-time favourite band, like no other I've heard, and they only made it long enough for three albums. <333 Yeah. EDIT: Woooow, I really really like this band. *.* Yesasia.com appears to have their album, but I am a little iffy about it as I've heard they sell some bootlegs (and YesAsia is always iffy; cheating people out of posters and other goodies that generally come with albums ya buy, etc...) --------------------  |

My sister just told me that their first song is a theme song for a Chinese drama. I'm not sure which drama it's from, but maybe you know, since you've heard it. |

I really like their music. It's a different change compared to other chinese artists i've listend to
It's cool, to see chinese and french mixed... definetely a first for me to see. I hope when I go to taiwan this summer that i can find their cd <3 One of my fav songs is sealed beast hehe. Thanks for posting about them on soompi!!!

They are one talented band. I like their songs a lot.
This is the kind of music I've been searching for in Asian artists, but couldn' find any real good ones. I found the MV to "Personal Life" Personal Life Oh, and that girl can speak French!!! |

if you can read chinese, mp3.baidu.com hosts alot of their music.
i first saw them about a year ago. haha. i love them <3 their music is so different from the generic chinese music. the reason she speaks french is because she went to france to study fashion. she had lyrics but needed music. he had music but needed lyrics. therefore. tada! gemini. she's a fashion designer as well. -------------------- |
