she's cool. ^^
but she changes her image, like,... drastically. @_@ but other than that, she's a very interesting celebrity to watch. and I'm glad she's not really messed up like some hollywood stars. ... her chinese version of girlfriend was really off. =__= japanese one was good! ^^ so were the french , german, polish and italian versions. hahaha. cool concept. -------------------- |

i used to like her when she first came out - the Avril hype did get me. However, i don't like her music - it all sounds very similar - i haven't noticed much change and 'Girlfriend' is probably the worst single she's come out with...it doesn't show much vocal talent and the lyrics are extremely 'meh'

i like her old album & new one.. but i kinda like her NEW style.. i love her hair.. its always been straight.. and i like her hair in the MV "Girlfriend".. blonde + black? or blonde+pink? they really match her~ ^^

I was sorta iffy about her when i heard her comeback song "girlfriend"
thinking she had changed her images and such. Then i sat down and listen to the rest of her new album and i can honestly say i was surprised. So she's more girly and glam now. She's a wife...the last thing I wanna see is her wearing the same thing she does when she was what 16? People change  Anyway back to her album. It's beautiful for the most part all her songs amaze me...especially " Innocence & When you're gone " She's awesome enough said. --------------------  |

I feel like she is a sell out.

i used to like her back then.... like REALLY like her music and stuffs... and when she morph into this girlie blonde avril, i still like her though... it's up until when she morph again into this sexy avril who pose topless in magazines that I started to lose my respect for her.hmmm i dont get it. you dont need to pose topless to proof that you're matured and different. her old songs were great, they lyrics were the best. it's as if she wrote it from the heart and they're so meaningful. but her new songs are not as great as the old songs. as you can see, most of the new songs sounds kinda the same... and the lyrics got no quality at all. it's like... oh yeah im hotter than your girlfriend. blah. what the heck was thaT?

I think that her live sucks.
Whenever she sings live--rock or ballad or whatever it is, it sounds so bad. Yup. Her vocals are overrated. Not so great. I can't really think of anything good to say but that her songs were catchy. She seriously needs to stop singing. The music is crap and her lyrics have no substance. Why people listen to her music, and like it, is beyond me.

I was a huge fan ever since she started becoming famous. It wasn't until recently that my opinions started to change about her. When I was her hit single's video, I almost screamed in terror. She is unlike who she was before and I am really disappointed about that. It is probably the fact that she is married now, but hey, I still like her old self more. I have a friend who lives in the same town as her, and he knows people who knew Avril (he once sat beside her sister at the dentist appointment). Apparently, Avril has always been mean and a total stuck up since she was young. I am not saying this because I want to spread a bad impression of her, but I believe that it can be true.

^ Yeah. Her character is much better now, but I like her music better in the past. 'Girlfriend' is just too annoying. [sorry to fans.] She used to be filled with teenage angst and everything, but now she's all pinkish. Her change is too drastic. Lol. Guess she changed for her husband. Kinda stupid though IMO.
