Oh man... I never tried to change the LANGUAGE of any operating system before... im sorta limited to English...

Im not sure if they have some hardcore changes to the OS but it should hopefully be around here.

I assume its under Regional And Language but where exactly im not sure.

Just change everything to US and hope it changes it... All 4 tabs have references to location... however I don't see the system language setting.

Ill go research.

Edit:
Do you know what version of Vista you have? Vista Basic, Premium, Business, or Ultimate?

It sounds like Ultimate allows you to change the languages easily if you were to click Windows Update and just download the language pack. http://www.pctipsbox.com/language-packs-in-vista/

Might work for other versions, try this

doesn't it cost money though? to update it?
i also think the LIP only works for other languages if you were using an english vista program because i was searching languages and there were only foreign languages to me and no english.

thanks so much for your pictures and help though - it helped me figure some things out!
